Our History
In 1967, Balraj Bathla laid the foundation of Bathla with a simple vision — to bring quality, trust, and thoughtful design into everyday living. What began as a modest aluminium trading venture has since blossomed into a name synonymous with innovation and elegance in homes across India.
By the late 1990s, under the stewardship of his sons Rohit and Gaurav, Bathla made its defining leap into manufacturing. From a small family-run store in Bangalore came our very first aluminium ladder — crafted with care, built to last, and destined to become a household essential.
Fast forward to today: Bathla touches lakhs of lives with over 800 products, from ladders and ironing boards to drying stands, bathroom fittings, modular storage, and more.
One in every two ladders in India proudly bears our name — a quiet reflection of the trust we’ve nurtured for over five decades.
Our journey from a 2,000 sq. ft. workshop to state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities has been guided by a single belief: the everyday deserves excellence.
